Every approved Marquorum affiliate uses one confirmed partner code across current live offers. The same value acts as the affiliate's referral slug. Marquorum generates direct product-domain links, and QR codes encode those links for formats where scanning is useful.
Links, typed codes, and QR codes feed the same attribution system. They do not create separate commission accounts.
Choose the partner code carefully
The code must contain at least 3 and no more than 40 characters. The format is lowercase letters numbers and single hyphens. Avoid a trailing hyphen, repeated hyphens, impersonation, misleading trademarks, or a value you do not want associated with your public promotion.
Review the final code before confirming it. Changing it after confirmation is not available. This stability protects product links, typed-code use, historical events, and the commission ledger.
If the desired code is unavailable, choose a distinct version that still identifies your brand. Do not create a second account to capture another code.
Copy the current product-domain link
Open a current live offer and copy the link shown in the dashboard. The destination uses the customer-facing product domain with your partner code in the path. This lets a customer reach the product directly while the product and Marquorum exchange signed attribution evidence server to server.
Test the copied link in a clean browser before publishing. Confirm that it reaches the intended product and does not expose an internal identifier. Do not replace it with an unapproved redirect, URL shortener, or manually constructed tracking parameter unless current offer guidance explicitly permits that path.
A link for an offer that is unavailable, paused, or not integrated cannot be assumed to record attribution. Always recopy from the current live-offer surface when starting a new campaign.
Use the QR code as another form of the link
The dashboard QR code is generated from the same approved product link. Download it for video, print, presentation, or other contexts where scanning is easier than clicking. Test the rendered QR at the size and distance you expect the audience to use.
Do not place the code over a busy image, crop away its quiet border, recolor it so contrast is lost, or edit the encoded destination. Include a readable partner code or short instruction near the QR so a customer has a fallback if scanning fails.
The QR does not create a different attribution rule or a longer window. It is simply another way to open the same current link.
Understand the attribution window
An eligible link or code touch can remain available for 30 days under the current policy. A later eligible touch can replace an earlier one before a qualifying purchase. The applicable offer schedule is snapshotted with the event so later policy changes do not silently rewrite historical evidence.
The window is not a promise that every browser visit will be attributed. Consent, browser storage, product readiness, signed event delivery, fraud controls, customer action, and the final winning-touch rule can affect the result.
Do not claim permanent cookies, guaranteed tracking, or ownership of a customer. Attribution is a rule for eligible events, not a property right in a person.
Know when a typed code wins
The current precedence rule is: a valid typed partner code overrides an earlier eligible touch. This allows a customer who intentionally types a partner code at the supported product step to express a more direct choice than an earlier eligible link touch.
If there is no valid typed code, the latest eligible touch within the attribution window can win. An expired, invalid, unavailable-offer, or ineligible touch does not win simply because it happened last.
Do not ask customers to misstate which creator referred them. The code must represent a genuine promotion and remain subject to fraud and policy review.
Explain the optional first-month discount accurately
Where the current live-offer schedule permits it, the affiliate can use an optional first-paid-month customer discount of 50 percent. The preference is normally enabled for an eligible offer, but the live schedule and valid attribution still control whether checkout can apply it.
The discount applies to the first paid month only. It is not a permanent half-price subscription, a reduction to every invoice, or a change to the product's base public price. Attribution can remain valid even when the affiliate disables the discount for a permitted offer.
Confirm the preference and checkout presentation before using discount language in content. Do not promise the discount if the dashboard or product checkout does not show it.
Troubleshoot missing attribution
First confirm that the offer was live, the link or code was copied from the dashboard, the event occurred within the current window, and the customer completed the supported product path. Preserve the exact link, partner code, approximate visit time, product, and any customer-provided receipt reference.
Do not collect or send full payment details. Open a Marquorum support case with the affiliate account context. Attribution disputes require private event and ledger evidence, so public knowledge cannot decide the winner.
If a current link visibly fails, stop new promotion until the destination and readiness state are clear. A manual product URL can help a customer reach the product, but it does not repair or replace Marquorum attribution.
